We’re introducing a new rank system on GMR Center that turns all the Shards you earn into a single, easy-to-follow rank. Aside from separate badges or levels in each game or activity, you’ll now begin to see one rank that reflects your total Scrap earned across our entire ecosystem.
You earn Shards by completing tasks on GMR Center or playing games like LeetClicker. Each time you reach 1,000 Shards, you can convert those into 1 Scrap (this rate can be adjusted for special events). Your rank is based on the total Scrap you’ve ever earned, even if you spend some of it later.
Below is an example of how much Scrap you need to reach each rank. You’ll see it scales up smoothly so early ranks are easy and later ranks feel like a real achievement.

Between now and May 20th 2025: phased testing and feedback rounds. We’ll enable parts of the system for some users and make tweaks.
From May 20th 2025: full launch on GMR Center. Everyone will see the new rank system in their profiles.
Cross-platform progress: Play any game or complete any task and watch your rank grow.
Simple and fair: One system for all Shard sources and no penalties for spending Scrap.
Flexible: We can tweak the conversion rate or rank curve based on feedback and data.
We’ll integrate this with Battle Leet: Infected and our flagship PC PvP game later, so every click and victory moves you closer to the next rank.
